Overview
The MKH PVC Soffit Panel is engineered specifically for residential and commercial eave applications, providing superior roof ventilation and structural protection under Wall and Ceiling Systems. Designed to withstand harsh weather, these lightweight yet rigid panels feature an interlocking tongue-and-groove system for seamless, efficient installation on roof overhangs. Available in both solid and perforated (vented) profiles, our premium PVC soffits eliminate the need for painting and maintenance while delivering a clean, modern finish to building exteriors.

Recommended Application & Capacity
- Residential roof eaves: ideal for typical 12” to 24” roof overhangs; requires appropriate J-channel framing.
- Commercial fascia & soffit zones: suitable for wide spans requiring high wind-load ratings; verify support spacing.
- Porch & patio ceilings: provides clean, moisture-resistant coverage for outdoor living spaces.
- High-humidity environments: highly recommended for coastal zones and high-rainfall climates.
- For precise wind-load compliance, specify eave span and maximum local design pressure (PSF).
Notes: Actual ventilation performance depends on the ratio of intake soffit vents to exhaust ridge vents. Always verify local building codes regarding required Net Free Vent Area (NFVA) before final installation.
Technical Details & Safety
- Acclimate PVC panels to outdoor temperatures for 24 hours prior to cutting and installation.
- Use a fine-tooth circular saw blade or specialized vinyl shears to prevent edge chipping during cold weather.
- Allow 1/4” expansion clearance at all J-channels and receiving accessories to accommodate thermal movement.
- Fasten with corrosion-resistant roofing nails or screws; do not drive fasteners tight against the vinyl flange.
- Wear standard eye protection and dust masks during high-speed cutting.
- Ensure attic/eave insulation does not block air intake paths when installing perforated panels.
Applications
- Residential eave and gable overhang protection.
- Commercial building fascia, canopy, and entryway ceiling systems.
- Multi-family housing balcony undersides and covered breezeways.
